Can I change this resolution?

Yes ... but it's better if you let SlingPlayer determine the best resolution for current conditions. SlingPlayer analyzes your network connection, as well as the signal that's being transmitted from your Slingbox, and determines the optimum viewing settings based on that information. However ...

  1. Click the resolution indicator
The SlingPlayer Options - Encoding window appears.
  2. Select the second option: Enable SlingStream optimization with a video resolution of
  3. From the drop-down menu that becomes available, select the resolution that you'd like.
  4. Click OK.
After a brief optimization, SlingPlayer displays the resolution that you've selected. The resolution indicator changes to reflect this new setting.
